I spent more time in Australia and New Zealand (nearly half a year combined), but now it is finally time to announce that I have just received the stamp of my 100th country! It happens to be the Philippines and I can’t wait to explore all the beautiful islands here in the next four weeks. Until then, I hope you like this short one minute drone footage I put together from a rather unknown hike in New Zealand. Check out the post for more info and the video!

With now 100 countries under my belt, it is finally time to get my first drone footage out as a celebration! This short trailer from my recent New Zealand trip is showcasing a peak called Castle Rock in the Northern Island’s Coromandel Peninsula. Certainly off-the-beaten-path and well worth the little scramble to get to the top! You will be rewarded with amazing panoramic views; but just make sure you don’t fly your drone out too much in the strong wind and save yourself a 5 hour hike through the thick forest to retrieve it again!
