21/10/2014 The Bay of Fundy was one of my highlights prior to the trip. Getting there with two nice Couchsurfers, it certainly matched the expectations!

17/10/2014 This time I am updating you on my trip from a comfortable train with WIFI while it rains outside, certainly a good way to pass the time 🙂 I explored Halifax and surroundings in the last days, including Lunenburg and the main tourist attraction here: Peggys Cove’s Lighthouse. Besides of meeting a lot of great new people again, I also got very close to a little pug.

15/10/2014 I arrived in Nova Scotia on Monday using the ferry and my luck with the weather, hitch hiking and couchsurfers continues! Time for another quick update about the Cabot Trail in Cape Breton and the local L’Arche community before I’ll start to travel to Halifax.

12/10/2014 It’s my last day in Newfoundland and I just missed the ferry over to Nova Scotia due to a failed atempt of hitch hiking at 7am in the middle of a bank holiday weekend. Now I’m back in the Brewed Cafe in Corners Brook to summarize the last days here and in the Gros Morne National Park. You will see that coming in the autumn is really a good choice thanks to all the leaves changing their colours!

Travelling from 30/09/2014 to 02/11/2014
Just about one and a half months from now, I will start my big journey by flying into St John’s in Newfoundland, the most eastern city of Canada. I will do a lot of trekking there before heading over to Nova Scotia and New Brunswick, eventually ending in the busy cities of Quebec.
