📅 July 13th, 2021 ▶️ My Pacific Crest Trail series Heading North continues from Sonora Pass on California Section J for another 120km. Heading into the Mokelumne Wilderness displays a complete new set of landscapes including a lot of volcanic rocks. I found this to be very refreshing after the Sierra Nevada mountains and was positively surprised! Making my way through the super windy “Nipple” mountain, I eventually make camp with just one day left to South Lake Tahoe, wondering how bad the fire situation will be in the upcoming days…
